The “traditional” symbols for man, woman, birth, death, and infinity are followed by five other symbols of equal or greater significance. A Measured Strip of Signs is a puzzle, a commentary— rendered in a postmodern “crude” fashion — that reminds the viewer that discussions regarding semiotics, on a number of different levels, are important.
